Campaign Pitch
Main goal:
The main goal for my work is to show people what things can
happen on social media. I want people to know that social media can also lead
to so much other things than positive things.
Interview people who use social media for personal use and
business use.
Key message:
Social media is not always positive but can also lead to
negative things. Not everything about social media is good. Have you ever read
the terms and conditions when creating an account on social media.
Background:
Everyday there is someone who is racially abused, child
predators, and much more.
1 in 5 children and bullied over social media.
Target audience:
Target audience is young teenagers and people aged 14-20.
The reason why I give it such a big gap it’s due to the reason that people
start changing from there and I personally feel that younger people always get
targeted more.
Concept
The concept is to get a vary group of people. This from
people who have been bullied online and people who use social media to promote
their business. I want to get a variety of people this can be people who don’t
want to be on camera so I make them a silhouette if they are afraid of being on
camera.
Plan
My plan is to make a documentary which includes interviews
and much more. I have decided to add a series of ways to get information from
people and apply them to my documentary. I want this documentary to be
influential and help people know what positives and negatives social media has.
I feel like when creating this documentary I need make sure it doesn’t make the
audience bored but keeps them interested throughout the whole documentary.
Institutions or organisations which are similar
These two links I have provided above both explain social
media and how people can be safe on social media. These are the top two places
which explain how to be safe and what people need to do so they can provide
their own security on social media.
Primary research
I decided to do my primary research in questionnaires. I
decided this because I can have answers given to me anonymously. This is due to
the fact of some people want to stay anonymous when carrying out surveys.
Secondary research
I will carry out my secondary research by looking at books
and websites which have got statistics which are based on my subject.
Summary of would it be successful
I personally say that this will be successful as I will be
conducting interviews in the documentary to get a range of answers from people.
I don’t want to create a documentary which is simple and doesn’t have any
meaning. I want to give details in the
documentary and not make the audience bored.
