This blog will be used to update you on my work experience.

In this blog. I will be updating you on every single stage of how my work experience is going and what things I am doing.

I found this work experience work with the help of martin. A teacher from college approached him telling me that she needed someone to create a website for her. This was a website for her personal life.

I had decided how I will be creating this website. There were a few ways I would have been creating it. I could have used an adobe software called Dreamweaver. I have experience using this software, but I wasn’t 100% satisfied with it when creating my foodbank website. I than remembered a software called WIX. Wix is an online software which allows you to create a website. They offer over 500 industry-specific templates. The software is free to use for how ever long you need to use it for.

What I came up with.

This is the welcome page with the background my client wanted. I personally didn't like the background due to the fact of it being too blurry and having so many colours involved into it. This is why i had saved both copied of the background to show  which one is which and why this was a different screen shot.

I was waiting for a reply from my client as I wasn't getting any replies back i thought to find another client to work with in case the first client didn't respond.

Second client work

Second client work as I was waiting for my first client and they didn't respond to me.

My second client was someone which has just recently opened up a security company in London and wanted to add that into the website. They also wanted me to edit a few pictures for them and upload it onto Instagram for them. This website was already created by the company but they didn't know how to add another page and wanted to add texts and pictures to there page. These were the outcomes of me helping them create the website. 

My client had sent me the text they wanted to add with the background they wanted.

They wanted me to add another page and they wanted to have a background which was eye catching but allowed the text to be seen and stand out.

How well did the learners communicate with you?

Very well, I was updated with my website and what was happening towards it. They communicated with me with phone calls. This made it easier for us to understand different situations.

How well did they complete tasks in a timely manner?

Dillon had completed tasks when It was due. Before taking the tasks, Dillon did inform us that it will take him some time to do this for us as he will be busy with college work. We understood all the pressure he was having at college and we allowed him to take as long as he needed. Dillon had completed the tasks within a month and a half which I was extremely happy about.

Are you happy with the final product/service completed by the learners?

I am extremely happy with the effort and work Dillon had carried out. I was extremely happy with the fact that Dillon was always thinking outside the box when creating the website. The best part of working with Dillon was the fact whenever I had an idea and it wasn’t going to work, he told me his ideas. This was amazing because he was giving me feedback on the work and so was I.

What is one area you felt they could have performed better in?

I personally feel the final product he created for me was at an amazing standard. This was all him doing the work. I gave him the writing I wanted to be added and he decided everything else. He decided the backgrounds and the layout. I know for sure if Dillon had more time, he would have made it even better. We had panned many ideas with each other. We created lists and lists but what we choose as a collective worked so well. I don’t think he could have performed better in anyway as everything he has added onto that website was what I wanted and what he knew would look good.

Any Additional Comments:

If I ever need anything done to my website, I will make sure Dillon does it for me as the skills I have seen him use and the knowledge he knows about websites is amazing. I will make sure I recommended him to any friends or family which need any websites done.
